The Story Behind the Museum
A Lifelong Passion
The Virtual Postcard Museum was created to preserve and share the history, artwork, messages, buildings, communities, and personal stories found on vintage postcards.
Founded and curated by Clarence E. Pridemore Jr., the museum is built from a personal collection of more than 5,000 postcards, with new exhibits to be added regularly.
Each card is more than an image. It is a surviving record of a place, a moment, and the people who experienced it.
